Eptec Defence is a trusted provider of asset preservation and sustainment solutions for Australia's Defence and maritime industries. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Defence Solutions team at Garden Island, NSW, reporting to the Program Manager.

You will lead safe, on-time delivery of Defence and maritime projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, commercial outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project management experience within Defence, Marine, Asset Remediation, Infrastructure, Construction or Industrial Services environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline.
• Strong leadership capable of managing multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, consultants, subcontractors and operational personnel.
• High-level commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting and contracts.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting Australia's Defence capability through the successful delivery of critical sustainment and maintenance projects.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Defence Solutions team based at Garden Island, NSW. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the safe and successful delivery of Defence and maritime projects, ensuring performance across safety, quality, schedule, commercial outcomes and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated project management experience within Defence, Marine, Asset Remediation, Infrastructure, Construction or Industrial Services environments.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.

Strong leadership capability with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple project stakeholders.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and operational personnel.

High-level commercial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting and contract administration.

NACE/AMPP Coating Inspector Level 1 or Level 2 certification highly regarded.

Sound technical knowledge of protective coatings, surface preparation, hazardous materials management and industrial maintenance activities.

Experience working within quality management systems, including QA/QC requirements, ITPs and project reporting.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic project environment.

Demonstrated commitment to integrity, teamwork and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
