Job summary

BM Doors, part of the ARA Group, is seeking 2 experienced Project Managers to join our Queanbeyan, NSW team on a full-time basis. You will manage project timelines, budgets, quality requirements and subcontractors from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and building codes.

You will coordinate with clients, site teams and suppliers, maintain project documentation, monitor risks and costs, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Proven Project Management experience within the construction industry.
  • Security industry experience will be highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, stakeholder management and construction compliance.
  • Construction Industry White Card preferred.
  • Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness certifications desirable.
  • Able to obtain and maintain Australian Government and Defence Security Clearances.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel (desirable).

Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day project operations and coordinating with site teams to ensure work is completed to specification.
  • Liaising with clients to understand project requirements, address concerns and provide regular progress updates.
  • Overseeing procurement of materials and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Implementing and monitoring health, safety and environmental standards across all projects.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, resolving issues and implementing corrective actions as required.
  • Preparing and managing project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications and progress reports.
  • Managing project costs, tracking expenses and ensuring projects remain within approved budgets.
  • Communicating regularly with stakeholders including clients, team members and senior management.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, Australian Standards and Building Code requirements.
  • Ensure quality construction standards and best-practice installation techniques are followed.
  • Conduct Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and commissioning activities.
  • Maintain site safety documentation, including Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).

About the role

We are seeking 2 experienced Project Managers to join our growing team on a full-time basis in Queanbeyan, NSW.

This role plays a critical part in the successful delivery of projects from commencement through to completion. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, quality requirements, subcontractors and stakeholder relationships while ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
