Job description

At VERIDAPT, we're redefining how mining and industrial organisations manage fuel, energy and critical infrastructure.

For more than 20 years, we've partnered with some of the world's largest mining companies to help them operate more safely, efficiently and sustainably. Today, our enterprise technology monitors more than 40 billion litres of fuel, tracks 107 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions, and is deployed across 300+ sites globally.

Our rugged field hardware, intelligent cloud platform and industry expertise enable customers to make smarter operational decisions while supporting the transition to future fuels and lower-emission operations.

We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to help deliver these innovative solutions to customers across Australia and beyond.

The Opportunity

As a Project Manager, you'll own the successful delivery of customer projects from initial planning through to commissioning and handover.

Working closely with customers, Project Engineers, Sales, Customer Success, installation partners and suppliers, you'll ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

This isn't a desk-based administration role.

You'll be solving real-world challenges, coordinating technical teams, managing stakeholders, travelling to customer sites when required, and delivering technology that directly improves the productivity and sustainability of some of the world's largest mining operations.

If you enjoy taking ownership, building strong customer relationships and bringing complex engineering projects together, you'll thrive here.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead multiple customer projects from initiation through to completion.

  • Build trusted relationships with customers and become their primary project contact.

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, forecasts and reporting.

  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning and project close-out activities.

  • Manage subcontractors, installation partners and suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

  • Identify project risks early and develop practical mitigation strategies.

  • Prepare installation documentation, scopes of work and project plans.

  • Work collaboratively with Sales and Pre-Sales on project costings, site assessments and scope variations.

  • Ensure projects comply with WHS requirements and VERIDAPT's project delivery framework.

  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes.

About You

You're someone who enjoys making things happen. You're organised, commercially minded and comfortable leading multiple projects while building confidence with customers and internal stakeholders alike.

You'll bring:

  • 3-5 years' experience delivering end-to-end projects.

  • Experience managing engineering, industrial technology, infrastructure or mining projects.

  • Strong commercial skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost management.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Proven experience coordinating technical teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Confidence using project management software and Microsoft Office.

Highly regarded
  • Engineering qualification (Electrical, Telecommunications or similar).

  • Diploma of Project Management or equivalent.

  • Experience with PMBOK, PRINCE2 or similar project management methodologies.

  • Experience reading electrical or control drawings.

  • Experience within mining, fuel management, industrial automation or heavy industry.
