Knox City Council is seeking a Project Manager to join the Strategy and Transformation Team at Knox Civic Centre. You will build relationships with business stakeholders and deliver projects that support the organisation's strategic outcomes.

This full-time Band 7 role offers flexibility while meeting operational needs, with a salary range of $115,162 to $129,157 plus super. You will lead initiations, business cases, planning, governance, delivery and benefits realisation.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive experience delivering complex projects across transformation, change and technology domains.
• Autonomous Project Manager with responsibility for initiation, business case development, planning, governance, delivery and closure.
• Experience applying formal PM methodologies and governance to manage scope, schedule, budget, risks and benefits.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with executives, leaders, SMEs and external vendors.
• Experience leading organisational change and managing people, process and technology impacts.
• Strong commercial and financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, procurement and vendor management.
• Experience delivering business and technology outcomes within complex environments.

Jobbeschreibung

This is an exciting opportunity to join our portfolio office project management team, driving the design and delivery of projects that will help the organisation achieve its strategic outcomes.

As a Project Manager, you will build and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, delivering value to the organisation and benefit to the Knox community. You will be part of the Strategy and Transformation Team, reporting to the Portfolio Office Lead and work alongside Project Managers, Business Analysts and business stakeholders to define and deliver solutions that will provide sustainable value to the organisation.

This is afull-time role based at Knox Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met.

This is a Band 7 classified role. Remuneration will be $115,162 to $129,157 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

What you will bring to this role

The key selection criteria for this role are:

• Extensive experience successfully delivering complex projects across business transformation, organisational change and technology domains.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as an autonomous Project Manager with responsibility for project initiation, business case development, planning, governance, delivery, reporting and closure.
• Proven experience applying formal project management methodologies and governance frameworks to manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues and benefits realisation.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with experience working effectively with executives, business leaders, subject matter experts and external vendors.
• Demonstrated experience leading organisational change activities and managing the people, process and technology impacts associated with project delivery.
• Well-developed commercial and financial management skills, including business case development, budget management, forecasting, procurement and vendor management.
• Experience delivering projects that combine business and technology outcomes within complex organisational environments.
