Job summary

Infosys in Melbourne is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and deploy cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure and GCP. You will implement IaC automation, CI/CD pipelines, and support hybrid infrastructure with a focus on scalability and security.

The role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements, ongoing learning, and opportunities to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies within a global digital services leader.

Qualifications

• Essential IT/CS qualification completed and relevant cloud experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure and GCP cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of IaC tools and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and deployment of cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Implement IaC automation and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Support hybrid infrastructure and security controls; assist defect triage.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): EKS, S3, RDS, Security Groups, IAM (via AWS CDK)
• Microsoft Azure: VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage, Load Balancers, VPN/ExpressRoute, AKS, Azure Container Instances
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP): GKE (managed Kubernetes services)
• Hybrid Infrastructure: Azure + VMware vSphere / vCenter / Horizon
• assessment, retesting, evidence capture, and defect triage support.

Essential

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

ADDITIONAL

• Azure DevOps: YAML Pipelines, Repos, Environments, Variable Groups, Service Connections
• Jenkins: Master/agent architecture, Groovy pipelines, Docker image build & release
• Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, AWS CDK
• Scripting & Automation: PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash
• Configuration & Deployment Automation: Large-scale Ansible automation, WSUS patching
