Job summary
Infosys Limited in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Cloud and DevOps Infrastructure Engineer with strong multi-cloud and automation expertise. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure with Terraform, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Bamboo.

Qualifications

- CI/CD pipelines built with Azure DevOps, GitHub or Bamboo.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments and security controls.

Responsibilities
- Administer, Configure and maintain Control M /Enterprise Manager, Control M /Server, Control M/Agent.
- Schedule jobs, monitor executions and troubleshoot OS, SAP, database jobs.
- Install and troubleshoot Control M Agents; diagnose server issues.
- Set up high availability for Control M in large infra.
- Define calendars and resources; maintain and patch Control-M environment.
- Manage integrations via plugins and API connections with other services.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud and DevOps Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise across multi-cloud platforms, automation, and modern infrastructure practices. The role requires deep operational knowledge of cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Active Directory, role-based access control, Kubernetes (AKS), Key Vaults, load balancing, storage, networking, and security. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE), and exposure to AWS environments is also highly valued to support multi-cloud and hybrid strategies.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with hands-on experience in Terraform and ARM templates to enable automated provisioning, scalability, and maintainability of cloud and infrastructure environments. They will also be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Bamboo, enabling efficient and reliable software and infrastructure delivery.

- Strong hands‑on experience in administering and managing Control M Administration at Level 2/3 for complex infrastructure and environments.
- Administer, Configure and maintain Control M /Enterprise Manager, Control M /Server, Control M/Agent.
- Schedule jobs, monitor job executions and troubleshoot issues related to OS, File transfer, SAP, Database jobs.
- Install and troubleshoot Control M Agents.
- Diagnose and resolve Control M server issues, including handling critical incidents.
- Set up and maintain high availability of the Control M environment in a large infrastructure setup.
- Define and manage calendars, resources.
- Maintain, upgrade, and patch the Control-M environment, and provide recommendations for value addition.
- Manage integrations using plugins and API-based connections with other infrastructure services.
- Work with Linux, Unix, and Windows Environment (mandatory).
- Use ServiceNow ITSM tool for incident and change management.
- Basic scripting and batch knowledge are required.
- Create/ modify JCL for job functions or to validate job.
- Self-driven, committed, process-oriented, and capable of handling challenging situations.
- Experience with ticketing tools like Service Now, BMC Remedy.
- Experience working with enterprise backup and recovery of database.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks.
- Understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, TCP/IP, Load Balancing, Firewall policies, and DNS architecture.
- Experience in running operations with ITIL processes / ITIL certified.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
