Job summary

SEE Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in the Moreton Bay region. You will manage urban development and civil works, coordinate subcontractors, and oversee programming, safety, and technical delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, contract oversight, and a solid civil engineering background with ERP and MS Office proficiency. This is a full-time position within a practical, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent is essential.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Experience delivering civil/urban development projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage project programming and construction methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and standards.
• Coordinate employees, subcontractors, procurement, plant and equipment.
• Lead the project team through activities and scope changes.
• Coach and develop staff within the department.
• Provide monthly forecasts of financial performance and progress.

About the Opportunity

SEE Civil have an opportunity for an exceptional Project Manager to our join our team, you can expect to work on a range of urban development projects including master-planned community projects across the Moreton Bay region. We have a vast range of civil and urban works currently underway and projected growth in the coming year. This is a full-time opportunity where you will be responsible for managing a project's programming, safety coordination, subcontractor management and supervision of all technical aspects of the project.

Responsibilities will include

• Responsible and accountable for the effective programming and construction methodologies of all site works.
• Responsible for project compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and standards.
• Responsible and accountable for the coordination of employees, subcontractors, procurement, plant and equipment required.
• Lead and support the project team through project activities and any changes to the project scope.
• Coaching, mentoring and training of relevant staff and identify and develop staff within the department.
• Responsible for monthly assessments and forecasts of project's financial performance.
• Ensure that plant, equipment, staff and subcontractors operate within safe working conditions.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Solid demonstrated civil engineering experience including proven management skills, practices and planning ability.
• Demonstrated experience managing a project and maintaining focus on priorities.
• Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating and administering contracts andspecifications.
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Knowledge of Engineering principles and experience in actual project delivery.
• Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
• Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).
• Construction White Card.
