Are you an experienced Project Manager? This is an exciting opportunity to work on infrastructure maintenance and development projects within a key local council.

About the Role

As a Project Manager you'll be responsible for overseeing civil infrastructure projects, managing contractors and staff, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, writing scopes of work and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Project & Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance of civil infrastructure and ensure timely project delivery.
• Team Leadership: Supervise on-site staff and contractors, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to WHS regulations and implement risk management strategies.
• Procurement & Contract Management: Write scopes of work, manage RFQs, and oversee vendor processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.

About You

• Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 4+ years in civil construction, infrastructure maintenance, or local government projects.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to manage teams, contractors, and multiple projects.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of WHS regulations, contract management, and civil infrastructure.
• Bonus: Local government experience highly regarded!
• Must have: A valid Class C driver's license.
