Williams Metal Fabrications Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive fabrication projects from planning to delivery. You will coordinate planning, procurement, timelines, and quality control while communicating between clients, production teams, and suppliers.

The role emphasizes building client relationships, expanding business opportunities, and leading a small team to deliver high-quality outcomes on time.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of project management experience within fabrication, construction, or manufacturing industries.
• Degree-qualified in project management, engineering, or a related field (highly regarded).
• Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly regarded.
• Proficient in project scheduling tools like MS Project and Excel.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, materials, industry standards, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery: Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple fabrication projects from start to finish.
• Manage resources: Oversee budgets, schedules, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Stakeholder communication: Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams as the central point of contact.
• Risk & compliance: Monitor project risks, costs, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

This role is the driving force behind a diverse range of fabrication projects—overseeing planning, procurement, timelines, and quality control, while ensuring seamless communication between clients, production teams, and suppliers. In addition to managing project delivery, the Project Manager plays a key role in strengthening client relationships, enhancing the company's reputation, and contributing to new business opportunities.
