Job summary

Hindmarsh is seeking a Project Manager to lead a high-profile construction project in Adelaide. You will manage time, cost, safety, and quality, coordinating site, design, commercial, and admin teams to meet the contract requirements.

The role requires 10+ years in major construction, a Civil/Construction Management degree, and strong knowledge of Australian codes. MS Project and Aconex experience is preferred, with a focus on delivering projects over $20 million.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 commercial construction.
• White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated capacity delivering projects over $20 million.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, codes, and legislative requirements.
• Advanced using construction software such as MS Project, Aconex or similar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned projects on time, on budget, and to specified quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Establish and drive execution against detailed project KPIs, milestones, and commercial goals.
• Lead the entire delivery team, ensuring integration of site, design, commercial, and administrative components.
• Be the final authority on all project communication and documentation issued to clients and stakeholders.
• Lead the team in establishing accurate project cash flows and proactively manage revenue and expenditure.
• Drive commercial awareness across the team — instil understanding of how site actions impact financial performance.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring on-site environments are clean, compliant, and safety focused.

The Opportunity: Project Manager Construction Adelaide

We are currently looking to appoint a Project Manager to join our busy Adelaide Construction team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of a challenging new construction project. You will deliver the project with effective management of time, cost, safety, environment legislative, financial, industrial and quality based contract requirements, ensuring the contracted completion date is met and effective client management.

You will:

• Experienced and capable in the use of Microsoft Pro
