Job summary

Hindmarsh in Adelaide is expanding its contracts team to drive commercial outcomes on a $65 million mixed-use development in partnership with Renewal SA. You will lead head contract and subcontract administration, procurement strategies and risk management, reporting to the Project Manager and collaborating with senior stakeholders.

The role requires 10+ years in commercial construction, strong contract knowledge, and expertise in CHEOPS/Aconex.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' commercial construction experience, ideally within a head contractor environment.
• Experience managing commercial outcomes on medium to large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract law principles, construction legislation and Security of Payment requirements.
• Experience leading commercial teams and mentoring developing professionals.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using CHEOPS, Aconex and similar construction software.

Hindmarsh is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our growing Adelaide team and lead the commercial outcomes of a $65 million mixed‑use development being delivered in partnership with Renewal SA.

Contracts Managers at Hindmarsh are responsible for leading project commercial outcomes through effective head contract management, procurement strategy, subcontractor management and commercial risk leadership. As the commercial lead on the project, you will work closely with the Project Manager and site leadership team to maximise performance, manage risk and deliver successful project outcomes from procurement through to completion.

Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with senior project stakeholders, you will be responsible for:

• Leading head contract and subcontract administration across project delivery
