Job summary

Dormakaba International Holding Ag seeks a Project Coordinator to drive automatic door installations across commercial, healthcare, education, retail, industrial and government sectors. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while coordinating customers, suppliers, technicians, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, construction administration, or project management.
• Strong organisational and scheduling capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate automatic door projects from order receipt through to practical completion, including scheduling, installation programmes, labour, subcontractors and site activities.
• Monitor project progress against key milestones, proactively manage delays, and attend project meetings and site inspections as required.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and liaise with builders, architects, consultants and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Prepare and maintain work orders, schedules, progress reports, variations, handover documentation, defect records and project files.
• Ensure installations meet Australian Standards, Building Codes, WHS requirements and company procedures, while supporting risk management and quality assurance.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning, practical completion and customer handover, ensuring defects are resolved and warranty/post-installation requirements are managed.
