Job summary

McConnell Dowell is seeking a proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support a major civil infrastructure project in metropolitan Adelaide. You will be embedded in the project team, delivering day-to-day HR support, onboarding and workforce administration across employees, consultants and contracting partners.

You’ll focus on resourcing, wellbeing and culture while coordinating with the recruitment team and using HR systems to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Recent HR coordination or administration experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with recruitment, onboarding, mobilisation and general HR administration.
• Ability to stay organised and manage changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and experience with HR systems and workforce data.
• Good IT skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• People-focused approach and interest in contributing to project culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive operational HR support to project staff and leaders.
• Support resourcing activities with recruitment team, shortlist applicants, coordinate interviews, provide candidate feedback and maintain communications.
• Administer onboarding, mobilisation and offboarding across the project workforce.
• Support culture, engagement and wellbeing initiatives and events.
• Assist with performance review processes and related administration.
• Prepare workforce reports and support resourcing and workforce planning.
• Support HR audit requirements and maintain project records.
