This is an opportunity to take real ownership of recruitment on a significant Australian project, while contributing to the broader people requirements of a growing and evolving workforce.
Your focus will include:
Working with project leaders to anticipate workforce requirements and align recruitment with project milestones.
Delivering end-to-end recruitment across engineering, technical, trades, logistics, project management and support roles.
Developing recruitment strategies and talent pipelines to meet current and future workforce needs.
Supporting international workforce mobilisation and integration in partnership with our Global Mobility team.
Providing practical HR advice and support on day-to-day employee matters.
Helping develop apprenticeship and early-career pathways to support future workforce capability.
You'll build relationships across the project and the business and see the results of your work as the workforce takes shape.
Your strength will be Talent Acquisition. You'll enjoy the challenge of finding people for specialist roles, know how to build talent pipelines and have the confidence to work with project leaders on their recruitment needs.
We're looking for someone with:
Strong hands-on recruitment experience, including direct sourcing and recruiting for professional, technical or specialist positions.
Experience contributing to workforce planning and developing recruitment strategies.
Practical HR experience, with a sound understanding of Australian employment legislation and everyday employee relations matters.
Strong communication and relationship-building and organisational skills, with sound judgement and attention to detail.
A calm, adaptable and collaborative approach, with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
Experience recruiting in engineering, construction, automation, logistics or similarly technical environments would be an advantage. Exposure to international workforce mobility, apprenticeships or early-career programs would also be valuable.
We're improving our HR systems and processes, but much of our work is still manual. You'll need to be organised, methodical and comfortable working with existing processes while contributing ideas for improvement.
Just as importantly, you'll enjoy being hands-on. You're comfortable working with senior stakeholders, but equally happy rolling up your sleeves and getting things done. You'll take ownership, follow things through and enjoy being part of a small HR team where everyone contributes.
Based at our Norwest office, this is a hybrid role with occasional attendance at the ALDI project site in Bradfield as the project develops.
You'll be part of an established international business and an experienced, collaborative ANZ HR team, with the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a project of considerable scale and complexity.
