Job summary

Sinclair Gold is seeking a Geology Manager to lead geological exploration efforts at the Mt Henry Project in Western Australia. You will mentor geologists and field staff, oversee safety, compliance, and data health for JORC reporting, and work with consultants to advance deposit models and resource growth.

The role sits on the Site Leadership Team, with a hybrid arrangement between the Mt Henry site and our West Perth office, offering opportunities to contribute to strategy and governance

Qualifications

• Must hold tertiary geologist qualification.
• At least 15 years of geology experience in similar roles.
• Experience passing Exploration Manager legislation exam and WHS risk management units.
• Extensive contractor management experience.
• Understanding of mining operations and OH&S requirements.
• Proven ability to communicate complex data to authorities and investors.

• Manage SRS reporting and tenement requirements under regulatory bodies.

• Coordinate resource-reserve modeling with consultants and Sinclair Geologists.
• Ensure data health for JORC reporting and incorporation into Resource estimates.

Sinclair Gold (ASX: SGC) is a gold exploration and development company focused on unlocking the full potential of the Mt Henry Gold Project, located in the Eastern Goldfields.

Mt Henry hosts a JORC (2012) Mineral Resource of 47.9Mt at 1.2g/t Au for 1.8Moz of gold, with the Mt Henry, Selene and North Scotia deposits positioned along a highly prospective 16-kilometre mineralised corridor.

We are currently seeking a Geology Manager to join our Exploration Team at the Mt Henry Project, conveniently located south of Kalgoorlie. This role is responsible for the geological exploration at the Mt Henry project site and the immediate exploration holdings. The role forms an integral part of Site Leadership Team and actively engages with the Sinclair Executive team.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Lead and mentor geologists and field technicians ensuring training and development of staff to meet future development needs
• Provide supervision and safety leadership to the geology team (geologists, field assistants, consultants and contractors) at the Mt Henry Gold Project.
• Ensure the development and maintenance of the safety management plan (with regards to geology based systems and standards) and compliance with all required systems of operation.
• Manage Safety Regulatory System (SRS) reporting and tenement requirements required under DMIRS (safety statistical reporting as well as tenement management reports)
• Daily, weekly and monthly reporting as required.
• Management of the contract geophysics crews as required.
• Management of heritage compliance around the geological activities
• Drive ongoing development of deposit geological models and interpretations to enable efficient understanding of the ore body.
• Generation and maintenance of the Sinclair Gold exploration strategy/targeting pipeline to enable Resource growth.
• Generation of resource-reserve models in cooperation with consultants and Sinclair Geologists.
• Management of geological data to ensure data health is satisfactory for JORC reporting and incorporation into Resource estimates.
• Assist with execution of study programs onsite to successfully develop the program to DFS.
• Management of the site geology team
• Hold the statutory position of Exploration Manager for Sinclair Gold leases.

Key Skills/Qualifications/Experience/Competencies

• Tertiary Qualification in geology.
• 15 + years' experience geology and significant experience in a similar role.
• Have successfully passed the Exploration Manager legislation exam and completed the WHS risk management units to be eligible to hold the statutory Exploration Manager position.
• Extensive experience with contractor management
• Understanding of general mining operations
• Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements
• Well-developed communication and literacy skills
• Proficient in technical writing, reporting and communicating of technical data to the relevant Government authorities and investors/shareholders as required
• Demonstrated leadership skills; inclusive of training and retention of technical and field staff and consultants
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and communication skills
