Job summary

Infrastructure Business Growth Pty Ltd – Maroochydore QLD is seeking a Project Engineer - Roads to lead the delivery of road, intersection and access works around existing transport operations. The role requires 5-8 years of contractor experience delivering roads and related works, with a Bachelor’s degree in civil, construction or transport engineering.

Relocation packages on offer. Australian experience is preferred as the project spans South East Queensland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, construction or transport engineering.
• 5-8 years' contractor experience delivering roads, pavements, drainage and traffic-staged works.
• Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence.
• Ability to obtain project-specific rail, site and medical competencies.
• Contractor-side experience with work packs, RFIs, ITPs, subcontractor coordination and progress measurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop roadwork staging, temporary traffic arrangements and construction methodologies.
• Coordinate earthworks, drainage, utilities, pavement, kerb, barrier, lighting, signage and line-marking interfaces.
• Lead design reviews, RFIs, survey and pavement-quality planning.
• Manage subcontract procurement, cost, quantities, production and program recovery.
• Coordinate road-opening readiness, inspections, testing, defects and authority acceptance.

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Project Engineer - Roads to lead engineering delivery of road, intersection and access works around existing transport operations.

Key Responsibilities
