Job summary

Ventia’s Western Power contract seeks an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Forrestdale, WA. You will coordinate programmes, manage costs, monitor quality, and engage stakeholders while promoting a strong safety culture across field teams.

Typical responsibilities include drafting and issuing project documents, risk reviews, procurement support, and effective cost control. A civil engineering degree is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil or related discipline).
• Experience in construction projects and ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; good time management and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer scope and client contract with focus on scope.
• Prepare and issue project technical and commercial documents.
• Perform document control activities.
• Identify project risks and participate in risk reviews.
• Control costs; review and track against budget.
• Provide progress reporting in a timely, accurate manner.
• Assist procurement and attend internal and client meetings.
• Contribute to lessons learned and nonconformance investigations.
