Ordering materials, organising subcontractors and booking plant/equipment (and helping make sure they show up on time)
Monitoring job progress, tracking costs, assisting with progress claims and maintaining project reporting
Pricing variations and preparing short-term programs and planning
Working with the site team, clients and other stakeholders to keep projects running smoothly
Keeping project paperwork, QA, claims and compliance documentation up to date
Reviewing drawings and specifications and flagging issues early (bonus points if you spot them before the site supervisor)
Making sure works comply with the head contract, safety requirements and governing body regulations
About you
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent
Minimum 4 years’ experience in teams delivering subdivision or bulk earthworks projects
Strong ability to manage timelines, safety standards and cost forecasting
Confident, practical and solutions-focused
Able to work collaboratively and juggle multiple priorities
Proficient in MS Office and MS Project
A team player who’ll help build a positive, hard-working site culture
Current Australian work rights (sponsorship is not available)
Why join us?
You’ll step into a role with real responsibility, autonomy and room to grow, in a supportive, family-style team. We’re growing steadily, your contribution will be valued, and when you do good work, we notice. We believe in a healthy work/life balance, with no corporate red tape or endless approval chains. It’s just straightforward collaboration with a small, experienced team delivering quality outcomes.
