Job summary

CaSE Contractors in Australia is seeking Project Engineers to support major infrastructure projects across the country. Working within embedded contractor and client delivery teams, you will contribute to planning, coordination and delivery of complex projects across transport, utilities, energy, water and civil construction sectors.

The level of responsibility will align with experience, from hands-on site engineering to leading major packages and mentoring delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience within roads, rail, bridges, structures, utilities, transmission, water, airports or energy projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology and site-based delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, subcontractors and clients.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and work regionally.
• Senior candidates will demonstrate leadership of engineering teams and major project packages.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead engineering delivery across assigned project packages.
• Coordinate construction planning, sequencing and work fronts.
• Manage subcontractor and stakeholder interfaces.
• Support procurement, quality and commercial activities.
• Manage RFIs, technical queries and engineering documentation.
• Monitor programme, cost, safety and quality performance.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and methodology development.
• Coordinate utilities, services and authority interfaces.
• Support project reporting, forecasting and risk management.
• Senior-level candidates will provide technical leadership and mentoring.
