Convil Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support delivery of civil infrastructure projects across Sydney. You will coordinate engineering requirements, procurement, programme, costs and quality with the Project Manager, Site Managers and Supervisors, ensuring progress across multiple fronts.

This role suits someone who can take ownership of project packages, resolve technical issues and keep site activities progressing.

Formación

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven Project Engineer experience delivering civil construction projects in Australia.
• Experience in roads, drainage, utilities or similar civil infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and construction requirements.
• Procurement, cost control, variations and contract administration knowledge.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage competing site priorities.
• Clear communication and collaborative approach with site teams.
• TfNSW or local council project experience is highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate construction activities, staging and short-term programmes.
• Review drawings and specifications, identify discrepancies and coordinate technical solutions.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor scopes, supplier deliveries and progress claims.
• Track project costs, quantities and forecasts, and report on budget performance.
• Prepare and assess variations and support contractual notices, claims and extensions of time.
• Coordinate with site teams, surveyors, consultants, clients and relevant authorities.
• Prepare and maintain RFIs, inspection and test plans, quality records and project reports.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and close-out of defects and non-conformances.
• Support site safety and environmental requirements.
• Assist with as-built documentation and project handover.
