Job summary

Parkview Constructions Pty is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to oversee quality management and ensure design intent is delivered across our projects in Sydney. You will coordinate between clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and guide the design team to keep work aligned with the programme and project brief.

The role requires a degree in CM/Engineering, 6+ years in a similar role, and a strong understanding of structure, services, finishes, and facades, with proven experience on

• 6+ years' experience in a similar engineering role.
• Strong understanding of quality and design for structures, services, finishes, and facades.
• Proven experience on large-scale ($40M+) high-rise residential projects.
• Familiarity with Sydney’s construction market, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain and monitor project quality standards and procedures.
• Identify issues with the project, lead the development and implementation of solutions.
• Review subcontractor quality documentation and checklists to ensure compliance.
• Review quality of subcontract works on site and liaise with the project team.
• Review and check commissioning and testing in regard to appropriate services description and inclusions.
• Act as facilitator to resolve design and co-ordination issues between client, consultant and subcontract elements.
• Manage the flow of technical information between the design disciplines and internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the design team to ensure works proceed in line with the target programme and the design documentation programme.
• Review consultant and subcontractor output for compliance with the design brief.
• Check tender package content for scope of work, product usage and design logic are carried out.
• Provide technical support and assistance to all members of the project team.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our projects – ensuring quality standards are met, design intent is delivered, and every technical detail aligns with our high standards.

You'll oversee quality management from start to finish, coordinate designs between clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and help solve the challenges that inevitably pop up in complex builds.
