Job summary

Marble Group on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (structures) to join our growth-focused team. You will lead structural engineering efforts on large-scale commercial projects, including a 50+ storey residential tower and other developments valued up to $500m+, collaborating with clients, architects and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10+ years in similar roles, tertiary qualifications in Construction Management & Economics or QS; strong leadership, communication

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management & Economics, QS or equivalent preferred.
• Proven experience with structures is advantageous.
• Excellent communication & relationship-building skills with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors.
• Local experience and established relationships with consultants and subcontractors.
• 5–10 years in a similar role with project exposure in the $100m–$250m+ range.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering activities on large-scale commercial projects.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors.
• Deliver projects in the $100m–$250m+ range on time and within budget.

I've partnered with a luxury developer builder with an excellent reputation in the market spanning over 30 years of proven success delivering projects up to $1bn specialising in the commercial project market. My client has already had a successful start to 2026 with a strong pipeline of work locked for 2030 and beyond.

They operate across a range of delivering methods, with D&C being a big focus they are looking for someone with proven experience within the Commercial construction industry. Project sectors include luxury residential towers $250m - $1bn

My client is a looking for an experienced Project Engineer (structures) to join their Gold Coast team due to growth. 50+ storeys iconic residential tower central to the Gold Coast - project value $500m+

Ideal traits the successful candidate will have:

• 5 - 10 + years of experience in the role.
• Leadership - enjoys mentoring and teaching others.
• Excellent ability to build rapport with others.

Your Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management & Economics, Quantity Surveying or equivalent are preferred.
• Proven experience with structures is advantageous.
• Excellent communication & relationship building skills with various stakeholders (clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors etc.)
• Local experience and relationships with consultants and subcontractors
• Ideally 5 - 10 years in a similar role and industry experience running your own projects between $100m - $250m+
