CPP have a dedicated in-house Civil construction department that plays a critical role in project delivery, providing scoping, estimating, management, and construction of civil works across transmission lines, renewables, and utility projects—giving us greater control over key project components.
Our capabilities include access tracks, roads, structural foundations, cable trenches, conduits, oil containment, and site infrastructure such as laydown areas and facilities. We also manage bulk earthworks, drainage, fencing, and signage, ensuring seamless integration of civil works into every project we deliver.
We are seeking a Project Engineer to support site based delivery of substation and associated civil infrastructure projects across WA.
This is a hands on role focused on site execution. You will coordinate concrete and structural steel works, interpret drawings and specifications, and ensure civil scope is delivered safely, to quality and schedule. You will also be responsible for QA/QC documentation, test reports, and handover packs to the electrical team and client.
The role operates on a rostered swing, typically 11/3. Projects usually run between 5-10 months, with the opportunity to move between projects as work completes.
This role suits an engineer who enjoys being on site, working regionally, and wants a clear progression pathway into Senior Project Engineer and Project Management positions.
