Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) is expanding its Western Australia operations from Perth, delivering high voltage substation projects, wind/solar storage and renewables infrastructure. You will work with senior leaders to coordinate engineering, procurement and commissioning across site and office environments.

The role focuses on delivering major projects, supporting bids and tenders, and building CPP's local project delivery capability while contributing to the state's energy transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering high voltage infrastructure projects.
• Experience or interest in bid/tendering or estimating.
• Knowledge of EPC project management across design, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Strong problem solving and timely decision making with stakeholder input.
• Proven ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support all phases of project delivery including engineering coordination, procurement, construction support, commissioning and quality management.
• Assist with bids, tenders and estimating to position CPP for opportunities in WA.

The Opportunity

As CPP continues to expand its national footprint, we are seeking a Project Engineer to play a key role in delivering one of our first major projects in Western Australia. Based in Perth, this is a unique opportunity to join the business at an exciting stage of growth, helping build our local project delivery capability while contributing to the successful delivery of a major high voltage substation project.

Working closely with experienced Project Managers and senior leaders, you will support all phases of project delivery including engineering coordination, procurement, construction support, commissioning, quality management, reporting and stakeholder engagement. You'll be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, working across both office and site environments to ensure safe, efficient and successful project outcomes.

Beyond project delivery, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to CPP's continued growth in Western Australia. You will support the preparation of bids and tenders, assist with estimating activities, and help position CPP for future opportunities across the state's growing transmission, renewable energy and utility infrastructure sectors. This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer looking to broaden their commercial and project delivery experience while helping establish a long-term presence for one of Australia's leading high voltage contractors.

About You

Desired Skills and Experience

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess

• A bachelor's degree in electrical Engineering
• Must have demonstrated experience with delivering high voltage infrastructure
• Experience or interest within bid and tendering or estimating
• Working knowledge of EPC project management including design, procurement, construction and commissioning;
• The ability to solve problems and make good decisions in a timely manner, consulting others when appropriate;
• Proven ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders
• Willingness to learn and actively upskill, with the ability to adapt to a new industry
