Job summary

3D Recruitment has been engaged to appoint a Project Engineer for an initial four-week temporary assignment with potential for a permanent position on major Melbourne construction projects. You will support formwork, reinforcement and concrete delivery, coordinating activities and working with an experienced site delivery team.

Ideal candidate has proven Project Engineer experience in commercial or civil construction, with practical formwork and temporary works exposure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer within commercial or civil construction.
• Practical experience with formwork, concrete, reinforcement and/or temporary works.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site-based project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of formwork, reinforcement and concrete works across active projects.
• Coordinate and monitor formwork installation and concrete pour activities.
• Assist with temporary works planning, coordination and implementation.
• Work closely with Site Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Assist with project planning, documentation and construction coordination.
• Monitor progress, quality and compliance across site activities.
• Assist in identifying and resolving construction issues as they arise.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
• Provide technical and practical support to the project delivery team.

YOU

• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and hit the ground running.
