Job summary

Our Client, an industrial builder, is seeking a Project Engineer/Coordinator to lead and assist the delivery of industrial storage unit projects in Melbourne. You will drive the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover and oversee budgets, programs, consultants and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a background as Project Engineer/Coordinator or Civil/Structural Engineer in commercial or industrial construction, with a proven track record delivering complex builds

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer in commercial or industrial construction
• Having a strong technical engineering background with clear communication and client facing
• Proven track record delivering complex builds over $4mil
• Keen and eager to move into the industrial space
• Strong leadership, programming, and cost control skills
• Ability to manage detail without losing sight of the bigger picture

Responsibilities

• Lead/Assist with the full project lifecycle from pre-construction to delivery

With a solid pipeline of secured work in the $4m–$10m range, they are now seeking a Project Engineer/Coordinator to lead/Assist the delivery of their industrial storage unit projects from early procurement through to final handover.

Your role:

• Lead/Assist with the full project lifecycle from pre-construction to delivery
• Manage project budgets, programs, consultants, and subcontractors
• Drive quality, safety, and commercial outcomes
• Looking after 2-4 projects ($10-$20mil all together)
• Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders and clients
