Job summary

Our Client, an industrial builder, is seeking a Project Engineer/Coordinator to lead and assist the delivery of industrial storage unit projects in Melbourne. You will drive the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover and oversee budgets, programs, consultants and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates have a background as Project Engineer/Coordinator or Civil/Structural Engineer in commercial or industrial construction, with a proven track record delivering complex builds

Qualifications

Experience as a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer in commercial or industrial construction
Having a strong technical engineering background with clear communication and client facing
Proven track record delivering complex builds over $4mil
Keen and eager to move into the industrial space
Strong leadership, programming, and cost control skills
Ability to manage detail without losing sight of the bigger picture

Responsibilities

Lead/Assist with the full project lifecycle from pre-construction to delivery
Manage project budgets, programs, consultants, and subcontractors
Drive quality, safety, and commercial outcomes
Looking after 2-4 projects ($10-$20mil all together)
Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders and clients
