NES Fircroft are partnering with a well-established energy organisation that's looking for a Project Director to lead the delivery of major generation and network infrastructure projects.
Some project roles are about delivering a single project. This one is about leading a portfolio of strategically important projects that will have a direct impact on energy infrastructure across Western Australia.
This is a senior leadership position, responsible for overseeing a team of Project Managers while ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and in line with stakeholder expectations.
This role sits across both project development and project delivery.
You'll be involved from the early stages of project definition, business cases and investment approvals through to construction, commissioning and asset handover. Along the way you'll be managing project teams, contractors, budgets, schedules, governance requirements and executive stakeholders.
It's a role that needs someone comfortable operating at both the strategic and delivery level. One day you might be presenting to executives or supporting investment decisions, the next you're helping remove roadblocks on a critical infrastructure project.
What makes this opportunity different is the mix of complexity, visibility and influence.
You'll have ownership of projects that matter, access to senior decision-makers, and the chance to shape how large-scale infrastructure projects are developed and delivered. It's the sort of role that suits someone who has already run major projects and is looking for a broader leadership position where they can influence outcomes across an entire portfolio, not just a single asset.
If you'd like to discuss the role in confidence, get in touch with me on laurence.bromley@nesfircroft.com. Happy to talk through the projects, team structure and broader opportunity before you commit to anything.
