Job summary

TalentWeb | B Corp in Sydney seeks an experienced Project Director to lead major residential developments on the client-side. You will oversee design, procurement and delivery across high-value schemes, with project values in the $150m–$300m range and beyond.

You will report to the Directors, manage senior stakeholders across developers, consultants and contractors, and drive opportunities to grow the business while mentoring project teams and ensuring exceptional delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Several years' experience at Project Director level in client-side PM or development consultancy.
• Proven delivery of large residential developments (Class 2/3), with project values exceeding $70m.
• Strong contract negotiation, administration and superintendent experience.
• Established professional network across Sydney property and construction sectors.
• Track record of developing client relationships, securing repeat business and contributing to work winning.

An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Project Director to join the senior leadership team, taking ownership of major residential projects while playing a key role in the continued growth of the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will provide strategic leadership across the design, procurement and delivery of significant residential developments, including potential projects valued between $150m and $300m+.

This is a hands-on leadership position combining major project delivery, commercial management, client engagement and business development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of major residential and mixed-use developments.
• Act as Project Director and Superintendent, overseeing complex construction contracts, procurement and negotiations.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships across developers, consultants, contractors and project teams.
• Drive new business opportunities, leveraging established industry relationships to secure future projects.
• Provide commercial oversight, managing project budgets, risk, program and contractual outcomes.
• Mentor and develop project teams, contributing to the overall leadership and growth of the business.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an established Project Director with strong technical capability, commercial acumen and the confidence to lead significant projects and senior stakeholders.

Ideally, you will demonstrate:

• Several years' experience operating at Project Director level within a client-side Project Management or Development Consultancy.
• Proven delivery of large-scale residential developments, ideally Class 2 and Class 3 buildings, with project values exceeding $70m.
• Demonstrated expertise in construction contract negotiation, administration and superintendency.
• An established professional network across the Sydney property and construction sectors.
• A track record of developing client relationships, securing repeat business and contributing to work winning.
• Exceptional communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the presence to confidently lead senior project teams.
