Job summary

Platinum Electrical & Air in Brisbane and the Western Corridor is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Supervisor to deliver on-site electrical projects while coordinating the team.

Key focus includes hands-on supervision, planning daily works, coordinating labour and materials, and ensuring safety, quality and timely handover across the Ipswich Special School project and other western corridor works.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Queensland electrical work licence.
• Commercial electrical construction experience.
• Experience supervising or coordinating site works.
• Willing to remain hands-on and work on the tools.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Current driver’s licence and Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installation work alongside the site team.
• Supervise electricians, apprentices and subcontractors.
• Plan daily and upcoming works.

• Work closely with builders and other trades.

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Project Supervisor to help deliver projects across the western corridor. Your immediate focus will include the new Administration and General Learning Area buildings at Ipswich Special School.

This is not a supervisory role from the sidelines—you’ll be actively involved in delivering the work.

The Role

This is a hand-on, predominantly site-based position combining electrical installation, site supervision and project coordination.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing electrical installation work alongside the site team

What We’re Looking For

You’re an experienced electrician who can lead a team, plan ahead and take responsibility for getting the job done.

Essential:

• Current Queensland electrical work licence
• Commercial electrical construction experience
• Previous experience supervising or coordinating site works
• Ability and willingness to remain hand-on and work on the tools
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
• Current driver’s licence and Construction White Card

Highly Regarded:

• Experience delivering education or government projects
• Experience across electrical and communications packages
• Familiarity with Simpro or similar systems
• Experience with testing, commissioning and project handover
