Job summary

Multiplex is seeking a Project Coordinator in Melbourne to support planning, programming, quality, stakeholder management and site delivery across complex projects.

You will work with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements. A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture or related discipline is required.

Qualifications

• Experience within commercial construction, engineering or project delivery environments.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• Understanding of Building Code of Australia and construction industry standards.
• Exposure to design management, procurement, estimating or contract administration processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across site and office teams.
• A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination and operational support across key project activities (planning, programming, quality, stakeholder management and site delivery).
• Work closely with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Support delivery in line with project requirements.

Working on the delivery of some of Melbourne's most significant construction projects, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful planning, coordination and delivery of construction activities across complex project environments. You'll drive project outcomes while building your technical and leadership capabilities within a high-performing team. This is a full-time, permanent position, based in Melbourne. As a Project Coordinator within Multiplex, you will provide coordination and operational support across key project activities, assisting with planning, programming, quality, stakeholder management and site delivery. You'll work closely with project teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.

The successful candidate will need:

• Experience within commercial construction, engineering or project delivery environments.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and project delivery processes.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation.
• Understanding of the Building Code of Australia and construction industry standards.
• Exposure to design management, procurement, estimating or contract administration processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across site and office-based teams.
• A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Architecture or a related discipline.
