Job summary

Multiplex is seeking a Global Finance Manager to lead the global finance team, overseeing quarterly and statutory reporting and coordinating with regional teams to deliver timely, accurate reporting. The role supports corporate initiatives and ensures strong financial governance across the organisation.

Who we're looking for

Reporting to the Global Financial Controller, the Global Finance Manager will assist in leading the Global Finance team and supporting the global financial reporting function. You will oversee key elements of the company's quarterly and statutory reporting and work closely with regional finance teams to provide accurate, timely and value-adding information that supports business leaders in making informed decisions.

This position will also play an important role in supporting senior management with the successful delivery of corporate initiatives and projects. The role has responsibility for global reporting to the parent entity, statutory financial statements, external audit coordination, covenant reporting, balance sheet governance, and financial control activities.

We are looking for a technically strong finance professional who combines exceptional financial reporting expertise with a collaborative, commercially focused approach.

What do I need to be successful?

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• A minimum of five years' relevant finance or financial reporting experience.
• A professional accounting qualification.
• Big 4 accounting firm training or experience.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise, including knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience preparing or reviewing consolidated financial statements.
• Knowledge of foreign currency translation and complex group consolidations.
• Experience managing statutory reporting and external audit processes.
• Previous experience managing team members and outcomes.
• Confidence in developing and implementing new financial processes and policies.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exposure to construction, tax-effect accounting, Hyperion and or OneStream would be advantageous.
