Job summary

Harvey Norman Shopfitting is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to support current and upcoming fit-out projects across Harvey Norman, Domayne and Joyce Mayne complexes. You will assist with inspections, plan interpretation, cost tracking, and reporting, contributing to on-time delivery and quality outcomes.

Reporting to the Shopfitting Manager, you will build strong internal and external relationships, coordinate delivery and staging plans, and help maintain documentation to ensure project

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide checklists and documentation for inspections to ensure high standards.
• Ensure WHS compliance in line with NCC.
• Assist project managers in stakeholder relationships with subcontractors, proprietors and internal team members.
• Analyse floor plans to compile manufacture and installation requirements.
• Develop and execute delivery and staging plans for timely fit-out completion.
• Manage documentation for issues and defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Use databases and Excel to track costs against budgets.
• Prepare comprehensive reports aligning with project progress.

Harvey Norman Shopfitting is a wholly owned subsidiary of Harvey Norman Holdings Limited. Located at South Strathfield, our main purpose is to assist in the design, manufacturing and fit out of owned and leased Harvey Norman, Domayneand Joyce Mayne franchised complexes.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager of Shopfitting, you will provide essential support to the existing and upcoming projects to ensure seamless delivery and execution.

You will;

• Supportwithinspectionsby providing checklists and documentation to ensure the job is completed to a highstandard.
• Ensureadherence to WHSmattersand compliance standards in line with theNCC(National Construction Code).
• Assistingproject managers to manage successful internal and external stakeholder relationships with subcontractors, proprietors, internal team members, and others to ensureaccuratedelivery and installation of allitems.
• Analyse and review floor plans to compile a list of manufacture and installationrequirements.
• Assist Project Managers to develop and execute delivery and staging plans to ensuretimelycompletion offit-out.
• Manage documentation for issues and defects to ensuretimelyresolution.
• Use a combination of databases and Excel to track costs against budgets, helping project management stay ontrack.
• Prepare comprehensive reports that align with project progress.
