Job summary

ACCIONA in Australia is seeking a Manager, Project Controls for the Wyaralong project to lead all project controls activities, own the integrated baseline programme, and drive governance across planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting and risk management.

You will lead a team of project controls professionals, provide advice to the Project Director, and ensure data underpins confident decision-making. Strong experience in Primavera P6, Excel and Power BI is required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field.
• Significant experience in project controls leadership on complex infrastructure or EPC projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, Excel and reporting platforms such as Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, forecasting, risk and change control.
• Experience within water or wastewater infrastructure highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project controls framework, systems and governance.
• Own the integrated baseline programme and progress measurement.
• Manage cost control, forecasting, cash flow and EAC reporting.
• Lead risk, opportunity and change control processes.
• Deliver performance reporting and analysis to project leadership.
• Lead and develop the project controls team.
• Integrate planning, procurement and construction interfaces.

Job Description About the Opportunity

As Manager, Project Controls, you will lead all project controls activities across the Wyaralong project, working closely with the Project Leadership Team to provide strategic oversight of performance. You will own the integrated baseline programme, cost control, forecasting and risk management, leading a team of project controls professionals and driving governance across planning, scheduling, change and reporting. You will provide direct advice to the Project Director, identify risks and opportunities early, and ensure controls data underpins confident, timely decision-making across the project.
