Job summary

Buildlab in Melbourne’s southeast is seeking a high-performing Construction Project Manager to lead a flagship residential project, overseeing a team of Site Managers and driving safety, quality, build time and ETO outcomes.

Reporting to the Building Manager, you will manage Stage 1 framing, oversee Stage 2 delivery, coordinate workloads, and maintain key developer relationships while delivering progress reports and on-site leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in residential construction.
• Experience leading on-site Site Managers or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder communication and reporting skills.

We're looking for a high-performing Project Manager to take ownership of one of our major South East Melbourne projects.

This is more than a traditional Project Manager role. You'll be responsible for leading a team of Site Managers, driving project performance, maintaining key developer relationships and ensuring exceptional results across Safety, Quality, Build Time and ETO.

About the Role

Reporting to the Building Manager, you'll be responsible for:

Overall delivery and performance of a major residential construction project.

Leading, coaching and developing Site Managers.

Managing Stage 1 construction activities through to frame delivery.

Overseeing Stage 2 delivery performance through your Site Manager team.

Managing project workloads and overflow jobs to optimise Site Manager performance.

Driving KPI outcomes across Safety, Quality, Build Time and ETO.
