Job summary

Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) invites applications for an Administration Officer Level 6 - Full Time (Exempt) based in St Leonards. The role supports project administration, customer service and process improvements within NSW Health.

The successful candidate will monitor plans, respond to information requests and contribute to continuous quality improvement while working in a team with flexible working arrangements including hybrid on-site work.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in office and/or project administration.
  • High level skills working in a diverse team and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile team where priorities shift.
  • Experience providing administrative services including minute taking, coordinating meetings, and preparing papers.

  • Apply project management methodologies to monitor progress against plans, milestones and deliverables.
  • Provide high level customer service and timely, accurate responses to enquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge of policies and use management information and project management systems.

Employment Type: Administration Officer Level 6 - Full Time - Exempt (July 2027)
Remuneration: $86,896.62 - $88,951.41 per annum, plus 12% superannuation
Hours Per Week: 38

About the Opportunity

Apply project management methodology and processes to monitor and report on progress against project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables including meeting tasks, timelines, cost and quality indicators.

Provide high level customer service and timely and accurate advice and response to enquiries and requests for information. Including actively contributing to the review of business and customer service processes to find efficiencies and continuous quality improvement.

Maintain knowledge of and apply relevant policies, procedures, standard, practices and capably use management information and project management systems, tools and processes.

Selection Criteria
  • Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in office and/or project administration in a diverse service industry or organisation with demonstrated experience providing high levels of customer service.
  • High level skills working in a diverse team and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile team where priorities shift and organising workload efficiently is critical to success.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing a range of administrative services including minute taking, coordinating committee meetings, scheduling meetings and preparing papers with a high attention to detail.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and consultation skills with an ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
