Wood is seeking a Project Accountant in Melbourne on a permanent basis. The role covers a range of project and management accounting activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and providing senior management with financial support.

The successful candidate will work with project controls to ensure timely month-end, reporting, and performance analysis, while maintaining compliance with revenue recognition and tax requirements. A CPA/CA is preferred and flexible working arrangements are offered.

Formación

• Accounting degree and CPA/CA preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to apply theory in a practical context.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with diverse workforces and arrangements.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Enthusiastic, conscientious and eager to learn; can-do attitude.
• Good business partner to operational divisions; proactive communications.
• Proficiency in process reviews, change management and process integration.

Responsabilidades

• Client-facing finance focal for the contract; resolve issues with the client.
• Ensure monthly delivery of client and internal management reports and analyses.
• Complete month-end deliverables in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with project controls to finish budgets and forecasts on time.
• Provide financial insights on project performance to senior management.
• Deliver commentary on monthly results and variances.
• Ensure revenue recognition aligns with policy and standards.
• Review and record accruals as required.
• Support indirect taxes and withholding tax processes.
