Job summary

The NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT), a not-for-profit statutory body, seeks a part-time Program Support Officer to assist the Northern Inland Regional Delivery team with administrative and operational duties. The role supports biodiversity programs, procurement, records, and stakeholder coordination.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply; hybrid work arrangements are available in line with government requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects or providing business support with strong admin and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous government experience is favourable.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support for biodiversity conservation programs.
• Process applications, reports and correspondence accurately and timely.
• Maintain records, databases and information systems to support reporting.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, meeting materials and other docs.
• Support financial administration, including purchasing and invoice processing.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, committees and stakeholder events.
• Respond to enquiries and build productive relationships with landholders and colleagues.
• Assist with work health and safety administration and tracking of field staff activities.
