Job summary

The Victorian Government's Department of Families, Fairness and Housing seeks a Program Officer (VPS4) to join a cross‑disciplinary team delivering social and affordable housing initiatives across Victoria.

You will support program management, oversee funding approvals, monitor performance, and collaborate with stakeholders across government, industry and communities to realise policy and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Specialisation of skills/qualification appropriate for a VPS4 grade in project administration and management.
• Experience with social infrastructure investment programs, including Housing Australia Future Fund and related initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of Project Managers across full project life cycle to meet objectives, ensuring delivery in line with legislation and regulations.
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to enable cross-project delivery and risk management.
• Develop and maintain efficient program management systems, including actions, issues, risks registers, and data tracking.
