Job summary

The Victorian Government - Department of Families, Fairness and Housing seeks a Policy and Project Officer to contribute to the design and implementation of governance arrangements that improve service coordination across initial assessment and planning services and homelessness entry points.

You will analyse information from diverse sources, prepare briefing materials, and support ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions.

Qualifications

• Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of complex projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
• Supporting the development and delivery of policy advice and practical projects within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
• Contributing to monitoring and evaluating projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
• Assist in providing authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
