In this role, you'll:
As part of a team delivering strategic transformation and delivery initiatives across NSW motorways, you will lead the planning, development and delivery of complex projects and programs that deliver tangible business outcomes.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring an experienced project and program manager who can actively drive delivery while leading and supporting others to achieve successful outcomes. You will be responsible for managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of initiatives that may include business transformation, technology and software development, operational improvement and infrastructure-related projects.
Working closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts and external vendors, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, risk and quality objectives are achieved. You will take ownership of delivery outcomes, proactively managing dependencies, resolving issues and removing obstacles to maintain momentum across multiple concurrent initiatives.
The role will also play an important leadership function within the team by providing guidance, coaching and mentoring to other delivery resources. You will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous impr ovement while supporting the development of project management capability across the team.
You will oversee governance, reporting, commercial and compliance requirements, manage vendor performance and contribute to the implementation of best-practice project delivery methodologies that support successful outcomes for customers, stakeholders and the organisation.
This is a Sydney based in person role at Elizaabeth Street and is fixed term for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
You are a highly capable and delivery-focused project or program manager with extensive experience leading and delivering complex projects within large and dynamic environments.
You are recognised not only for your ability to manage projects successfully but also for your ability to lead, coach and mentor teams to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. You are comfortable operating at both the strategic and operational levels, balancing governance and stakeholder management with hands-on delivery responsibilities.
