Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Senior Program Manager for a 12-month fixed-term opportunity in Sydney. You will lead planning, development and delivery of complex projects and programs, managing governance, budget, risks and vendor relationships to achieve business outcomes.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coaching and the ability to drive multiple initiatives across business transformation, technology and infrastructure. In-person, on-site at Elizaabeth Street, Sydney.

Qualifications

• Experienced project/program manager with a track record delivering complex initiatives.
• Ability to lead multiple concurrent programs and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong governance, reporting and financial management capabilities.
• Proven ability to build capability, coach teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience with vendor management and external contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development and delivery of complex projects and programs delivering tangible business outcomes.
• Drive end-to-end delivery with governance, risk, schedule and budget management.
• Coach and mentor delivery resources to enhance project management capability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure value for money.
• Establish and maintain effective governance and reporting structures.
