Job summary

Allura Partners is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead an S/4HANA Finance Transformation workstream for a major ASX-listed client in Sydney. You will drive multi-vendor delivery, manage schedules, risks, and dependencies, and report to governance bodies to ensure successful go-live and hypercare.

You bring a proven track record in large, complex programs, deep SAP S/4HANA finance delivery experience, and a finance background with strong R2R/P2P knowledge.

Program Manager - S/4HANA Finance Transformation

The opportunity


A major ASX-listed business is running a large SAP S4HANA finance transformation, with go-live in mid 2028. They need experienced Program Managers to lead key workstreams through go-live and hypercare.

These are program-level roles, you’ll take clear ownership of your stream, drive vendors to deliver, and work across interdependent workstreams to land a better end state, not a like-for-like rebuild.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end delivery of a finance transformation workstream


• Manage multiple vendors and dotted-line technical teams


• Run schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies with discipline


• Work with business leads and product owners to keep delivery on track


• Represent your stream in program governance and stage gates

What you’ll bring

• A track record of running large, complex programs, not just projects


• SAP S4HANA finance transformation delivery experience


• A finance or accounting background, with a solid understanding of core finance processes such as R2R and P2P


• The gravitas to take ownership of delivery and hold your ground with senior stakeholders


• A transformation mindset, focused on outcomes rather than ticking boxes

Desired skills

We’re particularly interested in people who have delivered in one or more of these areas:

• 
  Chart of Accounts: CoA redesign on S/4HANA, enterprise business models, dimensionality, and hierarchies, including data migration and dress rehearsals
  


• 
  Data and Reporting: finance data migration and management or financial reporting, using tools such as BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Group Reporting
  


• 
  Allocations, Planning and Investment: cost allocations and apportionment, budgeting and forecasting, and enterprise PPM rollouts such as Clarity
