Job summary
Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Program Manager to lead complex medical device, software and consumable program delivery from concept to commercialization. This on-site Melbourne-area role collaborates with R&D, Operations, Supply Chain and Manufacturing to meet business, quality and schedule targets.
The role requires 3+ years in program management, 5+ years cross-functional product development leadership, and relevant engineering or science qualifications or PM
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of program management experience with delivery of complex programs.
- Minimum 5 years leading cross-functional product development through full lifecycle.
- Track record of bringing electro-mechanical products from development to launch.
- Accredited engineering or science qualification or formal PM certification (PMI/PRINCE2).
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional programs from concept through manufacturing transfer and commercialization.
- Partner with Product Management and Lead Engineer to deliver high-value projects.
- Develop and execute integrated program plans with aligned workstreams.
- Drive governance, manage risks and decisions to ensure success.
- Monitor progress and metrics; report to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Foster accountability and high-performance culture across teams.
- Champion DBS principles and continuous improvement in development activities.
