Job summary

WorkSafe in Geelong is seeking a Manager Integration to oversee legislative and regulatory reform across OHS and related frameworks. You will coordinate complex programs, engage stakeholders and develop governance structures to support program commencement in 2028.

The role focuses on integrated planning, policy finalisation, stakeholder engagement and cross-stream coordination under the Director, LPIS, with a hybrid Geelong-based work pattern.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of government policy, legislative and regulatory development processes.
• Experience coordinating complex multi-stream policy and regulatory programs.
• Ability to lead and mentor staff and coordinate governance structures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate complex legislative and regulatory reform programs across OHS, dangerous goods and workers’ compensation frameworks.
• Develop an integrated program plan covering policy finalisation, drafting and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate contributions from LPIS managers and product owners and monitor progress against deliverables.
• Establish internal governance, reporting, risk/issue management and escalation pathways.
• Provide timely advice to the Director and LPIS management on risks and decisions.
• Manage business planning, budgeting and procurement activities for the Division.
• Coach and mentor junior staff.
