Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with External Delivery Service Partners and third-party carriers, acting as the primary operations contact for queries and escalations.
• Lead partner performance reviews and drive improvement meetings with cross-functional program teams.
• Oversee daily operations by monitoring delivery capacity against plans, ensuring scan compliance and resolving technical issues.
• Analyse KPIs using Tableau, Perfect Mile, and carrier EDI systems to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Maintain and update SOPs for partner and transportation operations, and deliver training sessions across the network.
• Support carrier rate management, monitor fuel surcharges, and escalate commercial issues to management.
• Manage onboarding for Delivery Associates, coordinate partner system access, and plan staffing for peak periods.
• Assist new site launches with equipment installation, partner readiness checks, and driver onboarding.

Amazon is seeking a talented and driven Program Manager to join our Third-Party Transportation team, where you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising the operational performance of External Delivery Service Partners and third-party commercial carriers across the Amazon delivery network.

In this role, you will drive day-to-day operational excellence across our existing sites, as well as supporting new site launches as the network expands. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, resolve escalations, and ensure our partners are set up for success.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with External Delivery Service Partners and third-party commercial carriers, serving as the primary operational point of contact for partner queries and escalations.
• Lead partner performance reviews and drive improvement meetings with internal program teams across both External Delivery Service Partner and third-party transportation networks.
• Oversee daily operations by monitoring delivery capacity against plans, enforcing scan compliance, and resolving technical issues across External Delivery Service Partner and third-party carrier lanes.
• Analyse Key Performance Indicators using platforms such as Tableau, Perfect Mile, and carrier Electronic Data Interchange and tracking systems to identify trends, develop targeted improvement strategies, and establish daily reporting cadences with partners.
• Maintain, enforce, and update Standard Operating Procedures for External Delivery Service Partner and third-party transportation operations, and design and deliver comprehensive training programs and refresher sessions across the delivery network.
• Support third-party carrier rate management activities, including monitoring fuel surcharge mechanisms, tracking contractual compliance, and escalating commercial issues to the carrier management team.
• Manage the onboarding process for Delivery Associates, coordinate partner system access setup, and develop strategic staffing plans for peak periods to ensure adequate workforce coverage.
• Support new site launches by coordinating end-user equipment installation, verifying partner readiness, and ensuring driver onboarding is completed to the required standard.

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience in stakeholder management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or last-mile delivery operation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in MS Access and SQL
• Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
• Experience using Microsoft Projects software
• Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams
