Job summary

State Government of Victoria, Australia, Melbourne CBD and Inner Metro suburbs is seeking a senior role overseeing program governance, risks, reporting, and operational readiness. You will provide strategic advice to executives and drive major policies and reform initiatives across departments.

The position requires leading enterprise change, building cross‑functional partnerships, and applying human-centred design to workplace change, to deliver outcomes for Victoria's public services.

Qualifications

About the role

The role oversees program governance, risks, reporting and operational readiness, to achieve the desired outcomes of the change. It provides strategic advice to executives, manages key stakeholder relationships, sponsors major policies and reform initiatives, and drives continuous improvement. The role works across DTP including; Legal, Finance, Workplace Relations, Health, Safety and Wellbeing, and People and Culture teams.

Qualifications and experience

You’llbring:

• Demonstrated experience leading complex, enterprise-wide organisational change (MoGs in a government or public sector environment.
• Experience leading people, workforce and stakeholder aspects of complex organisational integration, separation or transfer initiatives, supported by strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge and ability to apply human-centred design principles to workplace change.
