Job summary

BLACKROC Recruitment is seeking a senior Program Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional projects that support the integrity of a major Australian Government program. The role offers hybrid working options across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra and requires strong Agile delivery experience and stakeholder engagement skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing cross-functional projects using Agile methodologies.
• Experience applying Agile delivery practices in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of integrity-related challenges and the ability to translate these into measurable program goals and outcomes.
• Strong communication, collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Experience delivering across business areas, enabling services, external stakeholders and technology teams.
• Qualifications in Program Management, Project Management or Agile methodologies are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple cross-functional projects and workstreams.
• Translate program vision and objectives into practical roadmaps, backlogs and delivery schedules.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, resources and delivery milestones.
• Establish, prioritise and maintain project backlogs with delivery stakeholders.
• Apply Agile principles and practices to support iterative and incremental delivery.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Monitor delivery health, performance and outcomes, taking corrective action where required.
• Provide clear reporting and maintain transparency across senior stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Build effective working relationships across business areas, enabling services, technology teams and external stakeholders.
• Act as a key point of contact for day-to-day project delivery and stakeholder coordination.

• Experience delivering across business areas, enabling services, external stakeholders and technology teams.
• Strong experience managing competing priorities, dependencies, risks and government or organisational milestones.

Experience across identity, payment or claims processing, or integrity will be highly regarded.

Qualifications in Program Management, Project Management or Agile methodologies are desirable.
