The role leads delivery across gateway and security infrastructure projects in a highly governed environment, coordinating multidisciplinary teams while translating business needs into actionable delivery plans. Qualifications

• 5+ years' demonstrated experience leading complex gateway and network security infrastructure projects in a large organisation, preferably government.
• Strong systems analysis capability including analysis of technology services, dependencies and interfaces.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate across business, technical and operational stakeholders.
• Experience managing schedules, scope, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, change and governance reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce talking points and project documentation.
• Experience delivering within secure ICT environments will be highly regarded.

Resolve Recruit is partnering with a key Australian Government agency to identify an experienced Technical Project Manager (Network & Security Infrastructure) to provide delivery leadership across complex gateway and network security infrastructure projects.

The role combines senior systems analysis with project management, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, secure and scalable services. You will be accountable for translating business and operational needs into workable delivery plans; coordinating people, dependencies and suppliers; managing risks, issues and change; and ensuring solutions transition safely into production and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex gateway and network security infrastructure projects from initiation and planning through implementation, transition and closure
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, setting priorities, clarifying responsibilities and maintaining delivery momentum
• Develop and maintain delivery plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource forecasts and status reporting
• Manage project scope, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions and change controls, escalating matters early with practical recommendations
• Engage business, technical and executive stakeholders to build shared understanding and support timely decisions
• Analyse current-state systems, interfaces, operational processes and service impacts to define fit-for-purpose implementation and transition approaches
• Lead production transition and operational readiness activities, including support models, handover, documentation, knowledge transfer and acceptance criteria
• Support major problem and incident management by coordinating technical investigation, stakeholder communication, recovery actions and post-incident improvements

Key Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years' demonstrated experience leading complex gateway and network security infrastructure projects in a large organisation, preferably government
• Strong systems analysis capability, including analysis of technology services, dependencies, interfaces, operational impacts and implementation options
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate delivery across business, technical and operational stakeholders
• Experience managing schedules, scope, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, change and governance reporting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce talking points, project documentation and explain complex matters clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience delivering within secure ICT environments will be highly regarded
