Job summary

The Department of Transport and Planning in Victoria is seeking a Program Advisor to lead and co-ordinate the Program Team, supporting the delivery and development of capital works across the Ballarat and Geelong region.

You will oversee the health of the delivery program across arterial networks, coordinate funded local roads projects with Councils, manage funding variations, approvals and handovers, and provide practical delivery advice while ensuring robust reporting.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in the delivery of large transport projects (mandatory).
• Tertiary qualifications in project management.
• A current driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates the Program Team across capital works.
• Oversees the delivery health of arterial network and local roads projects with Councils.
• Coordinates funding variations, stage-gate approvals and project handovers with accurate reporting.
• Promotes stakeholder collaboration, risk management and continuous improvement.
